Whare Kahikā- Home Safety app for iPhone and iPad

This app shows you how to take out injury risks in your homes. The injury risks that put kids in hospital, or worse. Open the app, walk to the kitchen or bedroom, click through to make an easy-to-follow checklist appear.

• This app generates lists of devices you can put in to make spaces safer for kids.
• The lists are clickable and take you to suppliers where you can see what these things cost.
• The lists also give you advice about small changes that can make a big difference, like putting cups of hot drinks in the middle of table to avoid burns.
• The app comes in te reo Māori as well as English.
